Furusato in Dusseldorf

Very good!

I ordered the beef curry from Furusato through Lieferando. The food was delivered on time and tasted very good.

Wonderfully delicious Japanese and authentic food!

At the moment, due to Corona, the restaurant is only available for take away and Lieferando, but as always fresh, homemade, very tasty!

The best food on the whole Carlsplatz!

Here you can find the original, which is even partially extinct in Japan. An inexpensive, but very tasty and filling "Teishoku" restaurant. The taste is in the direction of typical Japanese home cooking (Katei-Ryori) with a touch of Chinese cuisine. The couple who run the shop are extremely friendly and accommodating. You don't experience that so often these days! Since I speak Japanese fluently, I also spoke Japanese with them, which worked out great. But you also speak fluent German and I believe at least one of them also speaks Chinese. The Kaarage were nice and crispy and still juicy inside. That's the way it has to be! There were pieces of radish and spring onions in the miso soup. Most of the stores that sell miso soup only contain wakame seaweed. The potato salad is typically Japanese and very creamy - maybe even a tad too much mayonnaise. But it was also delicious. "Furusato" means something like "home in the country". And that is what you would like to reflect here with the taste and friendliness.

Everything is delicious, and I sometimes go there! I especially like fried chicken! Not only that, the couple is very kind and bright. It will be very energetic to meet you! When you eat delicious rice in a warm atmosphere I feel happy! I am looking forward to delicious food in the future ?

I'm always feeling like home when being at here. They are always super kind and friendly so very comfortable to stay. And of course the taste is excellent!! Definitely best karaage(Fried chicken) in Düsseldorf.

My hometown is the first time I have come across such a nostalgic taste in my 30 years in Germany! Especially the curry tasted like a mother It was exquisite and unforgettable. If you want to eat the taste of Japanese home soon, I definitely recommend your hometown! The manager and the landlady were also very friendly people and had a memorable time!

Exceptionally good food at fair prices. If you are looking for really tasty Asian cuisine far away from pizza and pasta mainstream, you are well served here. The friendly owner couple cooks here fresh and passionate. Everything fits!

Super fresh soups - which really taste like beef stew and are not made from convenience products like in most other stores. I recommend a small appetizer and then the beef broth !! Delicious!

Delicious food. A successful mix of Japanese and Chinese cuisine. Have now gone through the entire menu and there is nothing I did not like. Everything is freshly prepared and you are always served very nice. Definitely worth a visit!
